We are building a database of quantification tools and resources to map what exists, identify gaps, and provide targeted support for future standards development.
To focus our efforts on the most impactful policy opportunities and the biggest gaps in regulatory standards, we are mapping current and upcoming CDR policies to appropriate quantification standards (if they exist).
We are creating a framework for jurisdiction-level monitoring of carbon removal via enhanced weathering on agricultural lands, building on existing methodologies from academic research and voluntary carbon market crediting programs.
Alongside our partners in the City CDR Initiative, we’re working to realize the carbon removal potential of cities. As a first step, we’re helping to craft carbon accounting recommendations fit for a variety of municipalities.
